Portrait of Jeffery Wee

Commercial Growth | Brand Positioning | Partnerships

Jeffery Wee

I turn senior conversations into commercial momentum, uncovering where the real opportunity sits, shaping a sharper direction and bringing the right people together to move it forward.

Commercial impact at 1103 Studios

Sole Senior Business Development Executive throughout the agency's latest chapter of growth.

Close to 80%

of new client relationships personally originated and helped secure since joining 1103 Studios.

The deal starts long before the proposal lands.

I work where commercial instinct meets delivery: getting close to what the decision-maker actually needs, turning that context into a stronger brief and staying involved until the opportunity becomes something the team can execute with confidence.

01

Opening the right room

Starting direct conversations with directors, business owners and marketing leaders who can move an opportunity.

02

Finding the real opportunity

Looking beyond the first ask to uncover the sharper commercial problem, positioning and reason to act.

03

Carrying it through

Translating client context into clear internal direction, vetting the work and keeping both sides moving together.

From access to action.

01 / NAMED ENGAGEMENT

Dongfeng Experience Centre Singapore

Business Development | Brand Positioning | Consumer Journey

The commercial opening

The assignment was never simply to make car content. Each model needed an ownable reason to matter, expressed through a campaign world that could travel beyond one film.

Two campaign IPs

For the 007, "Presence is Everything" turned engineering into proof of confidence and arrival. For Vigo, "Vigo Where You Go" placed space and versatility inside a warmer story about companionship, movement and everyday freedom.

My move

I helped originate and win the relationship, carried stakeholder and market context into a sharper brief, and stayed involved with the team to keep the creative direction commercially relevant through delivery.

What it created

Two distinct model stories under one brand: one premium and aspirational, the other human and lifestyle-led, supported by wider brand-positioning work and the opening of Dongfeng's latest outlet at Suntec City.

Relationship opened, account won and supported through delivery

Campaign architecture

Two models. Two audiences. Two distinct campaign worlds.

The creative idea changed with the role each vehicle needed to occupy. The constant was a clear human truth strong enough to make the product memorable.

007 / Presence is Everything

Presence before specifications.

We built the 007 launch around confidence, ambition and arrival. Its engineering still matters, but it enters the story as proof of the identity the audience wants to project.

Vigo / Where You Go

Utility made human.

Rather than reciting space and capability, we created a lifestyle-led campaign IP that follows the people, companions and experiences the Vigo makes room for. The product becomes an enabler of wherever life goes next.

02 / DIRECTLY MANAGED ACCOUNT

Turning a market transition into measurable momentum.

The opportunity

An established used-car dealer was preparing to enter the parallel-import new-car market. The opportunity called for more than campaign activity: it required a credible digital presence, a clearer position and a structured route from content to enquiry and appointment.

This was one of the accounts I managed directly. I stayed close to the relationship from discovery through execution, helping the client and delivery team move with the same commercial picture in mind.

My move

I distilled client information into a clear working brief for our client success team, helped shape the brand positioning and digital profile, vetted the work before it went back to the client and stayed responsive when timing mattered.

Results recorded from 1-16 December 2025 during the final COE bidding rush. The engagement also supported two new sales hires. Outcomes reflect the combined work of the client and 1103 Studios teams.

03 / COMMERCIAL SYSTEM DESIGN

I map the route before I ask the market to move.

A campaign should not end at attention or even at the lead form. I work backwards from the commercial outcome, then build the positioning, demand path, conversion route and handoff required to reach it.

01

Find the commercial opening

Start with the business model, customer journey and the highest-value point of entry, not a list of deliverables.

02

Shape the market story

Turn that opening into positioning, proof and a reason for the audience to care before asking them to convert.

03

Choose the right route

Sequence brand-building and demand capture differently depending on market maturity, urgency and sales capacity.

04

Connect the handoff

Carry source, context, ownership and next action into a CRM-ready flow so valuable intent does not disappear.

Different routes, one commercial system

The sequence changes with the problem.

Route 02

Capture intent

Sometimes one route leads. Sometimes both run together. The point is to make every stage answer a commercial question instead of treating marketing as disconnected activity.

CRM-ready handoff

The lead only matters when the next move is visible.

04 / PLATFORM ENGAGEMENT

Getting the right people into the right room.

The opening

For an automotive retail group, the relationship developed beyond a conventional agency conversation and included a client session at TikTok's Singapore office.

What I unlocked

My contribution was to help open the account, build confidence with senior stakeholders and work with the wider team to turn platform access into a commercially relevant conversation.

What working together feels like

“Jeffery has really gone the extra mile in assisting us since day one. He is incredibly prompt, his service recovery has been impeccable, and his efforts and ideas have helped support the growth of our business.”

Head of Marketing, established brand

Public client review, edited for length and confidentiality

Behind that feedback is a simple operating habit: capture the context, turn it into clear internal action, vet what goes back out and stay close when timing matters.

Built for the space between the first conversation and the final outcome.

I'm a Senior Business Development Executive at 1103 Studios. I open senior-level opportunities, sharpen the commercial story behind them and work across growth strategy, brand positioning, lead generation, digital campaigns and partnerships to help move them forward.

My commercial instinct was built across sales, account management and agency-side business development: enough time close to the client to read what matters, and enough time close to delivery to know what can actually move. I continue sharpening that perspective through graduate-level studies in Marketing Management and Digital Strategy at Harvard Extension School.
